BRSA created photo mock-ups of the turbine as it will be seen from the beach and area streets, and they posted them on their website.  We believe these were created to downplay its visual impact by blending the color of the turbine into the natural background and scaling it smaller than it will appear in reality. Imagine a turbine the height of a 38-story office building with a blade span about the size of a Boeing 747.  See the bottom images below for the future location of the BRSA turbine and an example of its scale.

At the bottom of this page are two aerial photos of the Atlantic City sewer plant. Robert Fischer and others at the BRSA have claimed at their open meetings that the AC plant does not sit on an island. They use that to help counter our noise argument, claiming the AC sewer plant and surrounding area has similar topography to the sewer plant in Union Beach. They are absolutely wrong. Either they are misinformed, although they've been to the AC plant several times, or they are lying. The edge of the Venice Park neighborhood is 1,600 feet from the nearest turbine. The wide tidal creek and the noise from Rt. 30 (White Horse Pike) help buffer Venice Park from the noise.
